Privacy Policy

Overview
Fotoklar respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what data the app touches and where it lives. The short version: Fotoklar does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device or in your own iCloud account.
Information We Collect
None. Fotoklar does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information, usage analytics, crash reports, device identifiers, or behavioral data. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no profiles.
Where Your Data Lives
All of your photos, videos, and metadata are managed by Apple's Photos framework and remain in your device's photo library. If you have iCloud Photos enabled, your library syncs through your own iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy terms — not ours.
App settings and progress (such as your last-reviewed item) are stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server operated by us.
Permissions Fotoklar Requests
- Photo Library — required, so Fotoklar can show your photos and videos for review and apply any deletions or edits you make. You can grant full or limited access; both are supported.
- Location Services — optional, used only if you choose to edit a photo's location. Searches are performed via Apple's CoreLocation geocoder.
You can revoke either permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Third-Party Services
None. Fotoklar uses no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. The app is built entirely on Apple's first-party frameworks (SwiftUI, Photos, CoreLocation, StoreKit). No data is shared with anyone.
Network Activity
Fotoklar makes no network requests of its own. The only network traffic that may occur is initiated by iOS itself: Apple's geocoder when you search for a location, App Store / StoreKit when you make an in-app purchase, and iCloud Photos sync if you have it enabled. All of those are handled by Apple under their own privacy policy.
In-App Purchases
Pro features are available as an in-app purchase through the App Store. All transactions are handled by Apple. Fotoklar does not see, process, or store any payment information.
Children's Privacy
Fotoklar does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe to use at any age.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy is ever updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
